After weeks of studying one of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedies, Hamlet, the students in 8i, left the classroom and entered the world of the stage to bring the characters of Kronborg’s most famous royal court, to life.
The production, which took place on Wednesday 12th December, consisted of a montage of different scenes from the story of Hamlet, with students playing a variety of roles.
Although Shakespearean language can be challenging for most, our students displayed great acting talent and a perceptive understanding of some of Shakespeare’s most complex and intriguing characters and themes in their presentation of the play.
