Institute Sankt Joseph has a tradition for the students in year 8 to go to Rome for a week. The students have spent a long time preparing in order to maximise the learnings on the trip. They are visiting the most important historical places and becoming acquainted with many of the churches of Rome. Of course, they will visit St. Peter’s Basilica, but also some of the less famous churches will be included on their trip. The students will also take part in the social work amongst the poor people of Rome; they will give out food from a soup kitchen, which is run by the Sisters of Mother Theresa’s Missionaries of Charity. The students also had the time to enjoy the beautiful city with its many clothes shops.
We have received these photos from the group in Rome. They have not included comments to the photos; they are probably too busy.
