The annual secondary Basket ball tournament hosted by CIS was another huge event attended by 8 schools, over two days and involved almost 300 players. The U14 boys and U16 managed to secure 3rd place in the tournament up against some very dominant CIS teams. The U12 boys, U12 and U14 girls teams showed amazing resilience over the two days and went from strength to strength throughout the tournament. Thank you all to the parents who supported the event and have offered to help develop the teams for next year. I am confident with the support of our new self selected parental coaches we can get onto the medal podium next year.
The next competition is the Girls Football tournament hosted by Esbjerg School on the 24th and 25th March and it will take place over two days with a stay over at the school. If you would like to support this or help train the teams, please get in contact with myself or Thomas Orr who will be running this event during my parental leave.
