4i write their own version of ‘Ulchabháin Óga’

English lesson in the glorious sunshine

4i tested their writing, language and drawing skills by creating their own versions of the children’s book ‘Owl Babies’ by Martin Waddell and Patrick Benson.
Just to add a twist to the story, they were read this beloved children’s tale in the Irish language, later translated it into English, then wrote their own versions with exciting plot twists to continue the adventures of the baby owls!
Later the students read their stories to the class as we sat in the park in the glorious sunshine!
