Today 24/6 2021 8i took a trip to the Black Diamond to visit the Nick Cave exhibition, Stranger than Kindness.
On the way to the Black Diamond we passed by Søren Kirkegaard in the library garden and reflected on the idea that ‘memories create identity’ before exploring this idea further by delving into Nick Cave’s world at the Stranger than Kindness exhibition.
We learnt all about Nick Cave’s story which was told through photos, letters, notebooks, video and music installations that conjure up a rich world of creativity.
In groups students focussed on different aspects of the artist’s life and career and presented back to the class when we gathered together in library study room.
