After a month’s and a year’s wait the much anticipated Copenhagen International School Basketball tournament was back and ISJ were ready and waiting.

The teams had trained during the winter month’s competing against other classes in the school interclass basketball competition. This coupled with our two parent coaches Poul one of Denmark’s top ice hockey coaches and Thulani an ex danish national player, the competition  didn’t stand a chance!

The girls U12 team after losing their first game with me in charge switched coaches and managed to win their next 3 games culminating in a nail biting overtime final against CIS and finishing 2nd. The U12 Boys came 1st along with the U16 Boys team.

It was a pleasure to take these 5 teams to a tournament and it was great to see so many parents out their supporting the teams. I am looking forward to next year already!
